JOB SUMMARY
The CRNA functions as a member of the Anesthesia team to provide safe, appropriate anesthesia care for a variety of patients.
The CRNA demonstrates excellent customer service performance in that his/her attitude and actions are at all times consistent with the standards contained in the Vision, Mission and Values of Memorial HealthCare and strives for superior performance by consistently providing a product or service to leadership and staff that is recognized as ultimately contributing to the patient and family experience. Recognizes and demonstrates understanding of patient and family centered care.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
7. Utilization of electronic medical records and the completion of all medical records in a timely fashion as per Hospital policy.
8. Advise administration and provide input regarding services and technology advances that would promote quality patient care.
9. Complete all necessary documentation to meet billing and compliance guidelines in accordance with Hospital policies. Submit all paperwork necessary to permit Hospital facility billing upon completion of each business day.
10. Build and maintain positive relationships and maintain professional behavior and communication with other medical and Hospital staff members to include physicians, nurses, and others.
11. Establish and maintain positive communication and behavior with Hospital patients and their families; including meeting with patients/families as requested by nursing and/or social work.
12. Assure adherence to shift start and end times and maintain a clinical presence within the Hospital at all times during agreed upon shifts.
13. Promptly respond to calls for assistance throughout the hospital.
14. A coordinated approach to utilization review and quality assurance and case management.
15. Participate in activities otherwise necessary to achieve the strategic objectives of Hospital.
16. Maintain a professional appearance, including wearing an ID badge at all times while on duty.
17. Demonstrates knowledge of and supports hospital mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality statements, corporate compliance plan, customer service standards, and the code of ethical behavior.
